Additional Information:
The lens was also sold as a Quantaray rebadge (click to compare). It is often associated with the Cosina rebadges, which definitly isn't true. It is of a much heavier build quality, has a shorter close focus and most importantly, it features internal focus mechanism (and therefore a flower shaped lens hood). Regarding to this I'm not sure, the nickname given above was originally intended for the AF-193. There are some references to an ealier EMZ version of the lens, which might well have been a Cosina rebadge indeed, but I have never seen that one on offer for Canon EF. However, the nickname just went along with the new version I guess.
