A Note about Sigma FAP (Focus Aid & Programmable): | |
There is almost no information about these lenses available online. They were made for AF bajonets, but MF only, at the time of 1985 - 1987 (note: Canon EOS cameras were produced since 1987). These lenses exist for Minolta infact, for other mounts I could not find any samples until now. My conclusion is, that they were not made for other mounts.
FAP Lenses available: FAP Zoom Lens II 21-35mm F3.5-4.2 FAP Fisheye 16mm f2.8 Filtermatic FAP Super Wide II 24mm f2.8 These were mentioned in some vintage Sigma FAP prospect (without any mount information again). More possible candidates by guess: Sigma 5.6/400 [169] and 8/600 [144] were produced 1987, but are both mirror lenses, the only other 1987s lens in question so far would be the 35-135 [705]. |
