The Zeiss Compact Primes are a series of cine lenses optically based on the ZF lens designs, that don't come with a fixed mount. Exchangeable mount pieces are available for PL mount, Canon EF and Nikon F. Mount piece exchange takes approximately 10-15 mins. Screwdriver, disc shims, screws and a test chart are part of the accessories delivered with the mount pieces. The barrels and mechanics of the lenses are completely different from the ZF models and were optimized for the manual needs of filming (sturdier construction, homogeneous(ly) operating elements, long focus ring rotation etc.). All lenses of the CP.2 series are color-matched and feature module 0.8 gears.
