According to the AT-X 242 AF's product description all Tokina AT-X zoom lenses are parfocal.

The lens was developed in cooperation with Pentax and - with a slightly different barrel design - also launched as Pentax model. A rebadge was also sold by JVC (click to compare). Tokina added an AT-X 107 AF DX NH (= no hood) version in 2011.
