Additional Information:
Rebadges of this lens are available by Bell+Howell, Bower, Falcon, Minadax, Opteka, Phorex, Polar, ProOptik, Rokinon, TKL, Vivitar and Walimex (click to compare).
The lens is available in 2 design versions: the old one with golden ring around and golden model name plate (reading "Samyang Optics 85mm Aspherical IF") on the front part of the barrel, and a new one similar to the VDSLR version with red ring around the base part of the barrel (model name plate gone, model imprints moved down right below the distance scale, most likely reading AS IF UMC - yet impossible to verify with the existing pictures). I first recognized the new model in 2015.
A V-DSLR version of this lens is available as well.
An AE version of the lens is sold by Walimex under the original Samyang brand [#21555] as well as it's sold rebadged by Rokinon, but it's not mentioned by Samyang.
