Zeiss offers Lens Gear rings for the Milvus and Otus lens lines to support Mod. 0.8 gear follow focus units. They are made of aluminum and delivered with so-called GumGum rubber bands to protect the lenses' focus rings against scratches. Mounting does without tools. Available is a choice of 4 sizes - Mini with an inner diameter of 62 - 69mm (60 - 67mm with GumGum), Small for a diameter of 71 - 77mm (69 - 75mm with GumGum), Medium for a diameter of 78 - 84mm (76 - 82mm with GumGum) and Large for a diameter of 86 - 93mm (84 - 91mm with GumGum). The Otus 1.4/28 requires the Large version.
