Additional Information:
The Canon EOS 300 was also available as Date model including the Date Back module, adding 15g to the camera's weight in total. A special japanese revision from 2001 called Kiss III L also incorporated an RC-5, illuminated LCD and a slightly refined design.
The camera received the EISA Camera of the Year Award 1999-2000
