Additional Information:
The lens doesn't have a dedicated focus ring (instead turn the front barrel, which will rotate during AF operation). There neither is a distance scale available.
When mounting the lens to an EOS 40D, 50D, 60D or 7D, the peripheral AF points will not function as cross-types. Vertical and horizontal lines will be detected separately (less accurate and a bit slower). This is due to the optical characteristics of the lenses and the cameras' AF sensors and can't be fixed.
