Canon also does not recommend the use with EF-S 10-22mm F3.5-4.5 USM and EF-S 17-55mm F2.8 IS USM at near tele end, since it radically reduces working distance (just take care about your front lens element ...)
2 When using close-up lenses you can step-up the filter thread, but cannot step-down (the diameter of the close-up lens must be equal to or larger than the filter thread of the lens).
