Product IDs are found on the packaging as part of the barcode: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ xxx _ _ _ (where xxx is the lens ID, example: 0 085126 794279 ... lens ID = 794 = Sigma 28-200mm F3.5-5.6 DG Macro). If there are only 6 numbers given, the barcode are the first 3. Since they are not found on the lens itself, they are relatively useless for identifying your lens. However, Amazon, Ebay, Epinions and many other companies list these codes as part of their product descriptions.
